This sale plant is a mature stem division taken from our established mother plant. It features dark, velvet-textured foliage with prominent veining and striking formtrue to the traits seen in both of its original seed grandparents.

Parentage & Appearance

The final two images show the parent plants that produced the seed of our mother plant: one with heavily textured deep green leaves, and the other with large, black-toned lobes and fluorescent lime venation. This propagated specimen reflects those genetics, with rich green leaves, defined structure, and pinkish-red margins on emerging growth.

The first four images show the exact plant for sale. It is a well-established stem propagation with multiple leaves and strong root developmentready to continue growing under the right conditions.

Growing Requirements

This is not a beginner plant. Velvet leaf Anthuriums require consistent warmth, high humidity, and bright filtered light. If you live in southern Australia, we strongly recommend using a grow cabinet, humidifier, or heated greenhouse. While some experienced growers push the limits, we dont recommend attempting this species in low-humidity indoor environments unless you're confident in your setup.
