- Lighting: Prefers medium filtered to soft light. Avoid placing in overly bright areas as it can fade the leaves' patterning and colour. Keep away from heating/cooling drafts.
- Watering: Maintain moist soil in summer, but avoid sogginess. Use your finger to check the top 3 - 5 cm of soil before watering. Reduce watering in winter and consider bottom watering for ease.
- Humidity: Thrives in high humidity. Grouping plants together or using a pebble tray can help increase humidity around the plant. Avoid dry air from heaters or refrigerated air conditioners.
- Fertilising: Use liquid fertiliser fortnightly during the warm months and reduce or refrain from fertilising in winter.
- General Care: Clean leaves monthly with a damp cloth and prune older or damaged leaves to encourage healthy growth.
