-About Rosularia Platyphylla-

Rosularia Platyphylla is native to the North and South slopes of the Tianshan Mountains in central Xinjiang, China, where is on the slopes of river valleys from 220 to 2750m above sea level. It is also found in Russia. It features ovate-shaped flat green foliage covered with fuzzy and reddish tipped, forming the tight rosette. The blades are curved inward. The white flowers appear on the anthotaxy in midsummer. It even can be planted on rocks and mountains and is easy to propagate, which is full of exuberant vitality. The gorgeous color and shape make it one of the most stunning succulent hobby plants.

-How to care for Rosularia Platyphylla-

Sun/Location: Rosularia Platyphylla is a drought and frost-tolerant ornamental succulent, which prefers partial to full sun. It is recommendable to place less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the growth potential. Rosularia Platyphylla would develop its optimal color and shape when stressed.

Soil/Pot: Rosularia Platyphylla is poor-condition soil resistant as long as the potting soil is porous and ventilated. Blend 50% coarse sand, pumice, or perlite into the soil to maintain appropriate moisture and nutrients. Repot when needed and trim the succulent roots to better adapt to the environment when repotting, preventing bacterial and fungal diseases.

Watering: Rosularia Platyphylla is drought tolerant. Avoid overwatering due to the low water needs. Rosularia Platyphylla only needs to be watered sparingly. Alternatively, overwatering would kill the succulent plant of the black rot disease. The immersive watering method is also recommendable for Rosularia Platyphylla if grown in a ventilated and breathable location, which is convenient to naturally dry the water remaining on the leaf pistil.
