Russelia equisetiformis, commonly referred to as "Firecracker Bush", is native to Mexico and Guatemala. As a result of cultivation, this plant has natualized in other tropical and subtropical locations around the glove. Heavily branching, arching stems hold narrow leaves and blazing red flowers. Keep watered, but once established can dry partially in-between watering. This plant makes a fantastic accent to the summer patio and can even transition indoors as a houseplant.??
