Sempervivum arachnoideum, sometimes called hens-and-chicks. It is an evergreen perennial succulent plant, forming a mat of the fleshy rosette. The fleshy leaves are adorned with cobwebby white hair at their tips, often called cobweb houseleek. Small pink flowers will bloom in summer.

Sun/Temperature: As a variety, Sempervivum arachnoideum grows in the wild. Growing them in the garden or the cracks in the paving will look well in the full sun. Surprising cold hardy, it can grow outdoors in winter.?This succulent is highly cold hardy and can tolerate temperatures down to -20F (-29C).
